1. 1 And now it came to pass that after Alma had made an end of speaking unto the people of the church, which was established in the city of Zarahemla, he aordained bpriests and elders, by laying on his chands according to the order of God, to preside and dwatch over the church.

1 और अब ऐसा हुआ कि जब अलमा ने गिरजे के लोगों से बात करना खत्म कर दिया, जो कि जराहेमला के नगर में स्थापित था, गिरजे पर अध्यक्षता और देखभाल करने के लिए उसने परमेश्वर के तरीके से हाथों को रखने के द्वारा याजक और एल्डर नियुक्त किये ।
