अंदाज़ा लगाया जाता है कि वज़न में एक ऊँट की बराबरी करने के लिए सात करोड़ मच्छरों की ज़रूरत पड़ेगी!

3. Aaron stretched out his hand with his rod and struck the dust of the earth, and the gnats came on man and beast.

हारून ने अपनी छड़ी हाथ में ली और हाथ बढ़ाकर ज़मीन की धूल पर मारी।

4. 16 Jehovah now said to Moses: “Say to Aaron, ‘Stretch out your rod and strike the dust of the earth, and it must become gnats in all the land of Egypt.’”

16 इसलिए यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा, “हारून से कह, ‘अपना हाथ बढ़ाकर छड़ी ज़मीन की धूल पर मार, तब धूल मच्छरों* में बदल जाएगी और पूरा मिस्र मच्छरों से भर जाएगा।’”

5. Flies and gnats swarm in millions and dance gracefully in the warm evening air , the lovely moths fly silently like angels among the sweet - scented blossoms and myriads of twinkling specks of fireflies and glow - worms add enchantment to our moonless nights .

मक्खियां और डांस लाखों की संख्या में आ जुटते हैं और शाम की गरम हवा में नाचते हैं , प्यारे प्यारे शलभ मीठी सुगंधभरी मंजरियों में देवदूतों की तरह चुपचाप उडते हैं और असंख्य टिमटिमाते जुगनू तथा खद्योत हमारी अंधेरी रातों में जादू - सा बिखेर देते हैं .
