30. * UN and other mechanisms: Since 2002, India has piloted a resolution at the United Nations General Assembly on measures to prevent terrorists gaining access to Weapons of Mass Destruction.

* संयुक्त राष्ट्र एवं अन्य तंत्र : वर्ष 2002 से ही भारत सामूहिक विनाश के हथियारों तक आतंकवादियों की पहुंच पर रोक लगाने से संबंधित उपायों पर संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा में एक संकल्प को आगे बढ़ाता रहा है।

31. (b) & (c) The UN General Assembly adopted by consensus a resolution [A/RES/66/171] on ‘Protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms while countering terrorism’ on December 19, 2011.

(ख) एवं (ग) : संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा ने 19 दिसंबर, 2011 को 'आतंकवाद का सामना करते समय मानवाधिकार तथा मूल स्वतंत्रता की रक्षा' पर सर्वसम्मति से एक संकल्प [ए/आरईएस/66/171] अंगीकार किया।

32. India is acutely conscious of this threat. Our resolution at the General Assembly on measures to deny terrorists access to weapons of mass destruction has been adopted by consensus since 2002.

सामूहिक विनाश के हथियारों तक आतंकवादियों की पहुंच को रोकने से संबंधित उपायों पर आम सभा मे हमारे द्वारा प्रस्तुत संकल्प को वर्ष 2002 से ही सर्वसम्मति के आधार पर अंगीकार किया जाता रहा है।

33. Addressing at the UN General Assembly [UNGA] Plenary, Hon'ble Shri Anand Sharma, Indian Minister of State for External Affairs, thanked all the UN Member States for their support to the resolution.

संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा के पूर्ण अधिवेशन को संबोधित करते हुए भारत के माननीय विदेश राज्य मंत्री श्री आनन्द शर्मा ने इस संकल्प के समर्थन के लिए संयुक्त राष्ट्र के सभी सदस्य राष्ट्रों को धन्यवाद दिया ।

34. Procedurally, the addition of Hindi as another official language in the UN requires adoption of a resolution by the UN General Assembly supported by a majority of the 193 UN Member States.

35. I have accepted Foreign Minister Okada’s invitation to meet with other G-4 Foreign Ministers in New York in September this year on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly Session.

मैंने संयुक्त राष्ट्र महाधिवेशन के दौरान अतिरिक्त समय में इस वर्ष सितंबर माह में न्यूयार्क में जी-4 के अन्य विदेश मंत्रियों के साथ मुलाकात करने संबंधी विदेश मंत्री श्री ओकादा के निमंत्रण को स्वीकार कर लिया।

36. This will build on India’s impressive achievements in this area in recent years and the commitments that the President made to advance an open government agenda at the United Nations General Assembly.

असैनिक कार्यकलापों को सक्रिय बनाने के अपने साझे लक्ष्य को बढ़ावा देने और इस क्षेत्र में वैश्विक पहलकदमियों का समर्थन करने तथा रुचि रखने वाले अन्य देशों के साथ अपनी विशेषज्ञता को बांटने में सहयोग किए जाने का स्वागत किया।

37. Recently, External Affairs Minister in her statement to the 71st UN General Assembly Session on 26 September 2016, urged the Assembly to act with fresh resolve and urgency to adopt a CCIT.

हाल में विदेश मंत्री ने 26 सितंबर 2016 को 71वें संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा सत्र में अपने वक्तव्य में सभा से नए संकल्प के साथ कार्य करने और सी सी आई टी को स्वीकार किए जाने की तात्कालिकता पर अनुरोध किया।

38. (a) whether the United Nations General Assembly has recently adopted a resolution to begin discussions on security council reforms at the Inter-governmental Negotiations Group (ING) on the basis of a framework document;

(क) क्या संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा ने हाल ही में रूपरेखा कागजात के आधार पर अंतर्सरकारी वार्ता समूह (आईएनजी) स्तर पर सुरक्षा परिषद् में सुधार किए जाने के संबंध में विमर्श शुरू करने के लिए एक संकल्प पारित किया है;

39. UNSC resolution 1540 is in line with our own General Assembly resolution "Measures to prevent terrorists from gaining access to WMD”, adopted by consensus every year since it was first introduced in 2002.

संयुक्त राष्ट्र सुरक्षा परिषद का संकल्प 1540 हमारी अपनी महासभा के संकल्प ''व्यापक विनाश के हथियारों तक पहुंच प्राप्त करने से आतंकियों को रोकने के लिए उपाय’’ के अनुरूप है, जिसे 2002 में पहली बार लाए जाने के बाद इस साल सर्वसम्मति से अपनाया गया है।

40. Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh in his address to the United Nations General Assembly in September 2011 announced that India looks forward to welcoming Palestine as an equal member of the United Nations.

सितंबर 2011 में संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा में दिए गए अपने सम्बोधन में प्रधानमंत्री डा. मनमोहन सिंह ने घोषणा की थी कि भारत संयुक्त राष्ट्र में एक समान सदस्य के रूप में फिलिस्तीन का स्वागत करना चाहता है।

41. We welcome the adoption of the Report of the Ad Hoc Open-ended Working Group on Assistance and Support to Victims of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse by the UN General Assembly in December 2007.

हम दिसंबर 2007 में संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा द्वारा यौन शोषण और दुरुपयोग के पीड़ितों की सहायता और समर्थन पर तदर्थ खुले कार्य समूह की रिपोर्ट के अपनाए जाने का स्वागत करते हैं।

42. On 27 September 2014, Prime Minister addressed the 69th UN General Assembly Session at New York in Hindi. He also addressed the United Nations Sustainable Development Summit at New York in Hindi on 25 September, 2015.

27 सितम्बर, 2014 को माननीय प्रधानमंत्री ने न्यूयॉर्क में संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा के 69वें सत्र को हिंदी में संबांधित किया उन्होंने 25 सितम्बर, 2015 को न्यूयॉर्क में आयोजित संयुक्त राष्ट्र सतत विकास शिखर सम्मलेन को भी हिंदी में संबोधित किया।

43. The External Affairs Minister during her address to the 71st United Nations General Assembly in New York, on 26 September 2016 highlighted the egregious abuses that Pakistan is perpetrating in its own country, including in Balochistan.

26 सितम्बर, 2016 को न्यूयॉर्क में 71वें संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा को संबोधित करते हुए विदेश मंत्री ने पाकिस्तान द्वारा बलूचिस्तान सहित उस देश में किए जा रहे घोर अमानवीय अत्यारचार का उल्लेख किया।

44. Recent meetings at the UN General Assembly and other fora have highlighted the urgent need to address the issue of global warming and climate change, on the basis of common but differentiated responsibilities and respective capabilities.

संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा तथा अन्य मंचों पर हाल की बैठकों ने साझी किन्तु विकेन्द्रीकृत जिम्मेदारियों और अपनी-अपनी सक्षमताओं के आधार पर ग्लोबल वार्मिंग और जलवायु परिवर्तन के मुद्दे का समाधान करने की तत्काल आवश्यकता को उजागर किया है।

45. (a) to (d) Hon’ble Prime Minister, during his address at the 69th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on 27 September 2014, had called upon the international community to declare an International Day of Yoga.

47. After the Oslo accords were signed in September 1993 , the General Assembly voted 155 to 3 , with 1 abstention and 19 states not voting , to express " its full support for the achievements of the peace process thus far . "

ओस्लो समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर के बाद सितंबर 1993 में संयुक्त राष्ट्रसंघ आम सभा ने 155 के मुकाबले 3 मतों से , जिनमें एक राज्य अनुपस्थित था तथा 19 राज्यों ने मत नहीं दिया , इस समझौते की सराहना करते हुए इस शांति प्रयास की उपलब्धि के प्रति पूर्ण समर्थन व्यक्त किया .

48. First, on June 9, 2008, to mark the 20th anniversary of the presentation of the Action Plan by Shri Rajiv Gandhi at the United Nations, and next, when the Prime Minister addressed the UN General Assembly in September 2008.

ऐसा सर्वप्रथम संयुक्त राष्ट्र में श्री राजीव गांधी द्वारा प्रस्तुत कार्ययोजना की बीसवीं वर्षगांठ के अवसर पर और तदुपरान्त सितंबर, 2008 में संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा में प्रधान मंत्री के संबोधन में किया गया।

49. And the fourth element is that you know we have been actually supporting Palestinian cause at various international forums and then you are aware that on 21st December we have voted in favor of resolution mooted by United Nations General Assembly.

50. * India and the US called upon all states to abide by their commitments under the UN Global Counter Terrorism Strategy adopted by the UN General Assembly in September 2006 and called for finalization of the draft UN Comprehensive Convention on International Terrorism expeditiously.

* भारत और अमरीका ने सभी देशों से सितंबर 2006 में संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा द्वारा अपनाई गई संयुक्त राष्ट्र वैश्विक आतंकवाद रोधी रणनीति के तहत अपनी प्रतिबद्धताओं का पालन करने और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय आतंकवाद पर संयुक्त राष्ट्र व्यापक अभिसमय के प्रारूप को तेजी से अंतिम रूप देने का आह्वान किया।

51. The two Leaders also called for reforming the bodies and organs of the UN system, including the comprehensive reform of the UN Security Council as well as the revitalisation of the work of the General Assembly, better aligning the work of its committees with the 2030 Agenda.

दोनों नेताओं ने संयुक्त राष्ट्र प्रणाली के निकायों और अंगों में सुधार का आह्वान भी किया जिसमें संयुक्त राष्ट्र सुरक्षा परिषद में व्यापक सुधार तथा आम सभा के कार्य का पुनरुद्धार और 2030 एजेंडा के साथ इसकी समितियों के कार्य का बेहतर संरेखण करना भी शामिल है।

52. There was immediacy to it because in the context of the UN General Assembly Session which is already under way, there was a question of the acceptance of the credentials of the delegation of the Transitional National Council of Libya, and we have extended support to acceptance of their credentials.

इसकी तात्कालिकता थी क्योंकि संयुक्त राष्ट्र महाधिवेशन, जो चल रहा है, के संदर्भ में लीबिया की संक्रमण कालीन राष्ट्रीय परिषद के प्रतिनिधिमण्डल का प्रत्यय पत्र स्वीकार किए जाने का प्रश्न था।

53. I would think that there are mechanisms in place, and my understanding is that there are mechanisms in the United Nations in place to periodically inform the host country about all those who have been accredited or have been granted access in various categories to the United Nations General Assembly.

मैं समझता हूं कि ऐसी व्यवस्था पहले से ही है और मुझे जानकारी है कि संयुक्त राष्ट्र में भी उन सभी के बारे में मेजबान देश को समय-समय पर सूचना देने की व्यवस्था है जिन्हें प्रत्यायित किया गया है अथवा संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा के विभिन्न वर्गों में पहुंच प्रदान की गई है।

54. (Romans, chapter 14) The Convention on the Rights of the Child, adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations in 1989, recognized a child’s right to “freedom of thought, conscience and religion” and the right “to express his or her opinion freely and to have that opinion taken into account in any matter or procedure affecting the child.”

(रोमियों, अध्याय १४) १९८९ में संयुक्त राष्ट्र की महा सभा द्वारा पारित, बाल अधिकार कानून ने स्वीकार किया कि बच्चे को “विचार, अंतःकरण और धर्म की स्वतंत्रता” का अधिकार है और बच्चे को “ऐसे किसी विषय या प्रक्रिया के बारे में जो बच्चे को प्रभावित करती है, खुलकर अपनी राय व्यक्त करने और उस राय पर गंभीरता से विचार करवाने” का अधिकार है।

55. (a) & (b) The UN Trust Fund was launched in 2009 following the adoption by the UN General Assembly in May 2007 of the resolution sponsored by CARICOM and African Union to commemorate the 200th anniversary of abolition of transatlantic slave trade as well as to create a Trust Fund to construct a Permanent Memorial at the United Nations in New York.

(क) तथा (ख) संयुक्त राष्ट्र के न्यूयार्क में एक स्थायी स्मारक के निर्माण के लिए ट्रस्ट फंड बनाने तथा साथ ही साथ ट्रांसएटलांटिक दास व्यापार के उन्मूलन की 200वीं वर्षगांठ मनाने के लिए केरिकॉम तथा अफ्रीकी संघ द्वारा प्रायोजित संकल्प के मई 2007 में संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा द्वारा स्वीकृति के बाद 2009 में यूएन ट्रस्ट फंड आरंभ किया गया था।
