* मंत्रियों ने बौद्धिक सम्पदा को शासित करने वाले नियमों की न्यायसंगत अंतर्राष्ट्रीय प्रणाली की आवश्यकता पर बल दिया जिनके आधार पर स्वदेशी ज्ञान प्रणालियों और जेनेरिक संसाधनों तथा संबद्ध पारम्परिक ज्ञान के दुरुपयोग पर रोक लगाई जा सके।

दोनों पक्षों ने इस बात पर बल दिया कि आर्थिक और व्यापारिक संबंधों को और मजबूत बनाने की प्रक्रिया जारी रहनी चाहिए। हमें न सिर्फ व्यापार की मात्रा में वृद्धि सुनिश्चित करनी है बल्कि यह भी सुनिश्चित करना है कि हमारे व्यापार में विविधता आए। साथ ही व्यापार असंतुलन की समस्या का भी समाधान किया जाए जिससे भारत पर प्रतिकूल प्रभाव पड़ रहा है।

14. The important point is that Prime Minister emphasised that the point that the roadmap which we had laid out for the development of nuclear power plants would be adhered to, and if there is any issue regarding the site an alternative site would be made available.

महत्वपूर्ण बात यह है कि प्रधानमंत्री जी ने इस बात पर बल दिया कि हमने परमाणु ऊर्जा संयंत्रों के विकास हेतु जो कार्य योजना बनाई थी, उसका पालन किया जाएगा और यदि उक्त स्थल के संबंध में कोई मुद्दा उठता है, तो वैकल्पिक स्थान उपलब्ध कराया जाएगा।
