74. On March 13 this year, the two sides agreed to an ambitious road map for setting up 4 additional reactors of Russian design at Kudan Kulam itself and two more at a site in Haripur in eastern India.

इस वर्ष 13 मार्च को दोनों पक्षों ने कुडनकुलम में ही रूसी अभिकल्प के चार अतिरिक्त रिएक्टरों तथा पूर्वी भारत के हरिपुर में दो अन्य रिएक्टरों की स्थापना करने की महत्वाकांक्षी योजना पर अपनी सहमति व्यक्त की है।

पूर्वी यूरोप से नर्तक बार-बार बॅालीवुड की फिल्मों में दिखाई पडते हैं, भारतीय विमानों के कॅाकपिट में ब्रिटिश विमान चालक दिखाई पडता है और बैंगलोर की कुछ कम्प्यूटर कम्पनियों में बेनेटॉन विज्ञापनों के कुछ सेटों का भ्रम होता है।

76. (a) & (b) Yes, after the full roll-out of planned 77 Passport Seva Kendras (PSKs) under the Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode, it has been felt that some regions especially North Eastern States were inadequately covered by the Passport Seva Project.

(क) एवं (ख) : जी, हां। सार्वजनिक निजी भागीदारी (पीपीपी) मोड के तहत योजनाबद्ध 77 पासपोर्ट सेवा केन्द्रों (पीएसकेज्) के पूर्ण रोल-आउट के पश्चात, यह महसूस किया गया है कि कुछ क्षेत्र, विशेषकर पूर्वोत्तर राज्य, पासपोर्ट सेवा परियोजना में अपर्याप्त रूप से शामिल हैं।

77. (a) whether India and Bangladesh have entered into certain agreement to improve rail-road links to enhance trade and also get transit access through that country to bridge distance between the mountainous North Eastern States and rest of the country;

(क) क्या भारत ने पर्वतीय पूर्वोत्तर राज्यों तथा देश के शेष हिस्सों के बीच की दूरी को कम करने के लिए बांग्लादेश से व्यापार बढ़ाने तथा साथ ही उस देश से होकर पारगमन सुविधा प्राप्त करने के लिए रेल-रोड संपर्कों में सुधार लाने हेतु बांग्लादेश के साथ कतिपय समझौते किए हैं;

78. I am convinced that by gradually integrating this region through cross-border market access, the North-Eastern states can become the bridge between the Indian economy and what is arguably the fastest growing and most dynamic region in the world.

मैं इस बात के प्रति आश्वस्त हूँ कि सीमापार बाजार पहुंच के जरिए इस क्षेत्र को समय-समय पर समेकित करते हुए पूर्वोत्तर राज्य भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था और विश्व में सबसे तेजी से विकास कर रहे और सबसे गतिशील क्षेत्र के बीच सेतु बन सकते हैं।

79. In her Keynote Address, EAM stated that the North East is a "natural partner in India's Act East Policy,” being our land bridge to ASEAN, and the Act East Policy is a means to strengthen the stability, economy and prospects of our North Eastern region.

अपने बीज भाषण में विदेश मंत्री महोदया ने कहा कि पूर्वोत्तर ''भारत की पूरब में काम करो नीति में स्वाभाविक साझेदार है'', जो आसियान के लिए हमारा भूमि सेतु है तथा ‘पूरब में काम करो नीति’ हमारे पूर्वोत्तर क्षेत्र की स्थिरता, अर्थव्यवस्था एवं समृद्धि को सुदृढ़ करने का एक साधन है।

80. The projections could, however, face risks from external shocks, including financial market disruptions arising out of changes in monetary policy in high income countries, slower global growth, higher oil prices, and adverse investor sentiment arising out of geo-political tensions in the Middle East and Eastern Europe.

लेकिन इन अनुमानों के लिए बाहरी झटकों से जोखिम पैदा हो सकते हैं, जिनमें अधिक आय वाले देशों की मौद्रिक नीति में फेरबदल होने से वित्तीय बाज़ार में आने वाले उतार-चढ़ाव, अधिक धीमी वैश्विक संवृद्धि, तेल की ऊंची क़ीमतें और मध्य-पूर्व तथा पूर्वी यूरोप में भौगोलिक-राजनीतिक तनावों की वजह से निवेशकों के बीच प्रतिकूल रवैया शामिल हैं।
