1. After the introduction of the depository system by the Depository Act of 1996, the process for sales, purchases and transfers of shares became significantly easier and most of the risks associated with paper certificates were mitigated.

1996 के डिपोजिटरी एक्ट द्वारा डिपोजिटरी सिस्टम की शुरूआत के बाद, शेयरों की बिक्री, खरीद और हस्तांतरण की प्रक्रिया काफी आसान हो गई और पेपर/ सर्टिफिकेट से जुड़े अधिकांश जोखिम कम हो गए।

2. India’s intention to accede to the Ashgabat Agreement would now be conveyed to the Depository State (Turkmenistan).

अश्गाबाट समझौते में भारत के सम्मिलित होने की इच्छा को अब डिपोजिटरी देश (तुर्कमेनिस्तान) को संप्रेषित कर दिया जाएगा।

3. * For accelerated development of financial markets in Nepal the Government of India would provide technical assistance for establishment of a Central Depository System (CDS) in Nepal at an estimated cost of Indian Rs.9.2 crores towards consultancy, development of application software and training.

* नेपाल में वित्तीय बाजारों के त्वरित विकास हेतु भारत सरकार परामर्शी सेवाओं, एप्लीकेशन सॉफ्टवेअर के विकास और प्रशिक्षण के लिए भारतीय मुद्रा में 9.2 करोड़ रुपए की अनुमानित लागत से नेपाल में सेंट्रल डिपोजिटरी सिस्टम (सीडीएम) की स्थापना के लिए तकनीकी सहायता उपलब्ध कराएगी ।
