1. While recognizing the need to check cross border crimes, both Prime Ministers agreed that the respective border guarding forces exercise restraint and underscored the importance of regular meetings between the border guarding forces to curtail illegal cross border activities and prevent loss of lives.

सीमा पार अपराधों की रोकथाम करने की आवश्यकता को स्वीकार करते हुए दोनों प्रधान मंत्रियों ने इस बात पर सहमति व्यक्त की कि दोनों देशों के सीमा सुरक्षा बल संयम बरतें और साथ ही उन्होंने सीमा सुरक्षा बलों के बीच नियमित बैठकों के महत्व को रेखांकित किया जिससे कि सीमावर्ती क्षेत्रों में अवैध गतिविधियों पर रोक लगाई जा सके और जानहानि न हो।
