We have to bear in mind that if the people lose their faith in the judicial system and carry the impression that the judiciary is not able to punish the cuplrits , the victims and the kinsmen of the victims would resort to extra - legal methods to settle scores with the culprits whose identity is normally known to them .

हमें यह स्मरण रखना चाहिए कि अगर लोगों का विश्वास न्यायतंत्र से उठ गया और उनके मन में यह बात बैठ गई कि न्यायपालिका अपराधियों को दंड देने में असमर्थ है तो अपराधों के शिकार व्यक्ति और उनके संगे - संबंधी अपराधियों के साथ , जिन्हें वे प्राय : पहचानते हैं , निपटने के लिए गैरकानूनी तरीकों का इस्तेमाल करेंगे .
