बल्लियाँ लगाकर पाड़ बाँधना था, खूँटियाँ बनानी थीं, जहाज़ के अंदर पानी न जाए उसके लिए तारकोल लाना था, पात्रों और औज़ारों वगैरह का इंतज़ाम भी करना था।

मंदिर के चारों ओर बांस - बल्लियां हमेशा गडी रहती हैं और राजमिस्तरी बाहरी दीवारों पर नया पलस्तर करते रहते हैं .
