3. More recently, a Roman-based orthography named Brolikva (an abbreviation of Brahui Roman Likvar) was developed by the Brahui Language Board of the University of Balochistan in Quetta, and adopted by the newspaper Talár.

4. The External Affairs Minister during her address to the 71st United Nations General Assembly in New York, on 26 September 2016 highlighted the egregious abuses that Pakistan is perpetrating in its own country, including in Balochistan.
