7. * Discussions in the working group on Health covered the areas of Control of polio, management of Avian Influenza, public-private partnership in healthcare and family welfare, health related Intellectual Property Rights, Capacity Building in health sector, administrative structures relating to drugs and pharmaceuticals in the two countries and traditional systems of medicine.

* स्वास्थ्य संबंधी कार्यसमूह ने पोलियो नियंत्रण, एवियन इन्फ्लूएंजा के प्रबंधन, स्वास्थ्य चिकित्सा और परिवार कल्याण में सार्वजनिक निजी भागीदारी, स्वास्थ्य संबंधी बौद्धिक संपदा अधिकारों, स्वास्थ्य क्षेत्र में क्षमता निर्माण, दोनों देशों में ड्रग्स और फार्मास्यूटिकल्स से संबंधित प्रशासनिक ढांचे तथा परंपरागत औषधि व्यवस्था के विषय पर विचार-विमर्श किया ।

8. If I am not mistaken, when Avian Influenza broke in 2005-06 in India too there was some news that it had affected some of our poultry too but then we dealt with it in a way that has been accepted in most of the export markets where we export our poultry.
