"The Soldier Qualification course is designed to take a soldier from basic training, where they were taught drill and general military training, to basic soldiering skills such as personal weapons handling and field craft," said Sgt Scott Cairns, an instructor with the Atlantic Area Training Center (AATC).

Le Colonel Scott Cairns, instructeur au Centre d'instruction du Secteur de l'Atlantique (CISA) déclare ceci : « Le Cours de qualification de soldat permet au participant qui possède une formation militaire de base et a été entraîné au drill d'acquérir des compétences élémentaires de soldat comme le maniement des armes personnelles et les techniques de campagne ».
