1. The acromial periosteum is incised vertically. The incision is extended upwards into the trapezius.

2. The divided acromial fragments fall together on release of the retraction. Suture of the split muscles and of the periosteum of the acromion provides adequate closure.

L'opération terminée, les fragments acromiaux se rejoignent avec exactitude et la fermeture est aisée et correcte en suturant la brèche musculaire et le périoste acromial.
