4. The parade began with the pipes and drums marching with firefighters in full dress uniforms, and the entrance to the Parliament Building was decorated with an antique fire truck and two aerial trucks from Ottawa and Gatineau, Que. along with fire departments hoisting our nation’s flag.

En tête du défilé venait le corps de cornemuses; les pompiers étaient tous en uniforme de grand apparat tandis qu’à l’entrée du Parlement se trouvaient un ancien camion d’incendie et deux élévateurs à nacelle sur camions provenant des services d’incendie d’Ottawa et de Gatineau (Qc) et d’où flottait le drapeau du Canada.
