1. This species, which could grow up to 3.4 metres (11 ft) long, lived during the early Cretaceous Period, about 115–108 million years ago (from the mid-Aptian to early Albian stages).

Ce dinosaure long d'approximativement 3,40 mètres a vécu au Crétacé inférieur, entre environ 115 et 108 millions d'années (du milieu de l'Aptien au début de l'Albien).

2. The holotype specimen is MCT 1622-R, a skull and partial lower jaw, found in the Crato Formation, dating to the boundary of the Aptian-Albian stages of the early Cretaceous period, about 112 Ma ago.

Son holotype est au MCT (spécimen 1622-R), un crâne et une partie de mâchoire inférieure découverts dans la formation Crato et datés de la limite Aptien-Albien, vers la fin du Crétacé inférieur, il y a environ 112 millions d'années.
