1. This encounter happens afresh at every celebration of the Eucharist, when the Lord enters anew into the midst of his disciples and gives himself to them, allows himself, so to speak, to be touched by them, sits down at table with them.

Cette rencontre se renouvelle sans cesse dans la célébration de l’Eucharistie, où le Seigneur vient de nouveau au milieu des siens et se donne à eux, se laisse, pour ainsi dire, toucher par eux, se met à table avec eux.

2. One can only be his witness if one has had the experience of feeling Christ alive and present "See my hands and my feet, that it is I myself" (Lk 24: 39) of sitting at table with him, of listening as he sets one's heart aflame!

Seul celui qui a fait l'expérience de ressentir le Christ présent et vivant - "Voyez mes mains et mes pieds; c'est bien moi!" (Lc 24, 39) -, de s'asseoir à la même table que Lui, de l'écouter afin qu'il fasse vibrer son cœur, peut être son témoin!
