2. Lowlands and plains are small and scattered, mostly lying along the coast and composed of alluvial lowlands and diluvial uplands.

Er ist einer von über 200 Vulkanen, von denen 36 in den letzten hundert Jahren noch aktiv waren. Die Tiefebenen liegen hauptsächlich in Küstennähe.
