2. At their April 2009 meeting, The Rotary Foundation Trustees decided to end some Rotary programs, including funding for the Cultural and Multi-Year Ambassadorial Scholarships.

Das Stipendienprogramm der Rotary Foundation, die Ambassadorial Scholarships, ist wohl das bekannteste Programm von Rotary. Seit der Gründung 1947 studierten über 39.000 junge Studenten in über 100 Ländern der Erde.

3. Effective 1 July 2009, The Rotary Foundation will no longer fund these two types of Ambassadorial Scholarships as well as Rotary Grants for University Teachers. Read more about the trustees' decisions.
