Es wird ein neues, einfaches, reversibles Aktinometer zur Messung der solaren Strahlungsleistung im erythemwirksamen UV-B-Bereich zwischen 280 und 320 nm vorgestellt, dessen Grundlage die Kombination eines phototropen Materials (Glas oder Kunststoff) mit einem Filter ist, welches im UV-B-Bereich und im Bereich des sichtbaren Lichtes durchlässig ist, den dazwischen liegenden UV-A-Bereich jedoch selektiv ausblendet und damit für die Anzeige umwirksam macht.
