A method for the automated generation of a surface model of an object, in particular a blade of a turbomachine, comprises at least the following steps: measuring the surface of the object; providing the data obtained from the measurement in the form of an error-free point cloud, wherein the data is provided in the form of a triangulated point cloud; discretizing and analyzing curvatures of the triangulated point cloud; segmenting the triangulated point cloud on the basis of the results of the curvature analyses; setting up a uniquely allocatable object topology; and generating a parameterized surface model.

Ein Verfahren zum automatisierten Erzeugen eines Flächenmodells eines Objekts, insbesondere einer Schaufel einer Turbomaschine, umfasst wenigstens folgende Schritte: - Vermessen der Oberfläche des Objekts; - Bereitstellen der aus der Vermessung erhaltenen Daten in Form einer fehlerfreien Punktwolke, wobei die Daten in Form einer triangulierten Punktwolke bereitgestellt werden; - Diskretisierung und Untersuchung von Krümmungen der triangulierten Punktwolke; - Segmentierung der triangulierten Punktwolke auf Basis der Ergebnisse der Krümmungsuntersuchungen; - Aufbau einer eindeutig zuordenbaren Objekttopologie; und - Erzeugung eines parametrisierten Flächenmodells.
