1. The Covide pegmatite, (Northern Portugal), exhibit a new example of K-feldspar, Albite, quartz layering.

2. A description is given of scandium-rich ixiolite, (Ta,Nb,Sc,Sn,Fe,Mn,Ti)2O4 in association with pyrochlore, (Ca,Sc,Y,Sn,U)2(Ta,Nb,Ti)2O6(O,OH,F) and bazzite, Be3Sc2Si6O18 from a cleavelandite-amazonite pegmatite occurring as a part of a larger network of granitic pegmatite veins.

Ein Scandium-reicher Ixiolit in Assoziation mit Pyrochlor und Bazzit wird beschrieben, der aus einem Clea-velandit-Amazonit-Pegmatit stammt. Der Pegmatit bildet einen Teil eines größeren Netzwerkes von granit-pegmatischen Gängen.

3. Lepidolite and lithian muscovite occur in high-pressure spodumene, low-pressure petalite, phosphorus-enriched amblygonite and fluorine-rich lepidolite subtypes of orogenic affiliated complex type granitic pegmatites and rarely in anorogenic affiliated amazonite-bearing Trace element data determined by X-ray fluorescence for lepidolite of various pegmatite subtypes, morphology (“book”, “scaly”, “fine-grained”), position within the pegmatite (primary zones, replacement units, pockets), mineral assemblages and tectonic affinity (orogenic vs anorogenic) show extreme fractionation of Rb and Cs; modest levels of T1, Ga, Nb, Ta, Sn and Zn; and typically low abundances of Ba, Sr, Ni, Pb, Y, V, W and Zr.

Lepidolith und Li-Muskowit treten in Hochdruck-Spodumen, in Niedrigdruck-Petalit, in mit Phosphor angereichertem Amblygonit und in Fluor-reichen Lepidolith-Unterarten aus komplexen orogenen granitischen Pegmatiten und selten auch aus anorogenen, Amazonit-führenden Pegmatiten, auf. Spurenelement-Daten aus der Röntgenfluoreszenzanalyse von Lepidolith aus verschiedenen Pegmatit-Untertypen, die Morphologie (tafelig, schuppig, feinkörnig), die Position innerhalb des Pegmatits (primäre Zonen, verdrängte Einheiten, Taschen), Mineralbestände und tektonische Affinität (orogen gegen anorogen) zeigen eine extreme Fraktionierung von Rb und Cs, bescheidene Gehalte an TI, Ga, Nb, Ta, Sn und Zn; und typischerweise geringe Häufigkeiten von Ba, Sr, Ni, Pb, Y, V, W und Zr.

4. Three types of late, subsolidus (K-Rb)-feldspars occur in the spodumene-subtype, complex-type, pollucite-bearing Rubellite rare-element pegmatite at Lilypad Lakes, near Fort Hope in northwestern Ontario: (1) Exsolution followed by hydrothermal reconstitution generated diffuse bands, patches and veinlets of Rb-enriched (< 43 mol. % Rbf) and Rb-depleted triclinic K-feldspar in black blocky microcline; (2) metasomatism of pollucite produced aggregates of adularia which range from 14 to 73 mol. % Rbf, rimmed by pure 100 mol. % Kfs feldspar, and are most likely highly disordered; (3) blocky K-feldspar was replaced by salmon-coloured, fine-grained, Na-poor and Rb-free maximum microcline with a composition close to 100 mol.

In dem Pollucit and seltene Elemente führenden Rubellit-Pegmatit (Spodumen-Subtyp, komplexer Typ) bei Lilypad Lakes, nahe Fort Hope in Nordwest-Ontario kommen drei Typen von späten (K,Rb)-Feldspäten vor: (1) Entmischung gefolgt von hydrothermaler Rekonstitution schuf diffuse Bänder, Flecken and Gdngchen von an Rb angereicherten (&lt; 43 Mol-% Rbf) and an Rb verarmtem triklinem K-Feldspat in schwarzem, blockigem Mikroklin; (2) Pollucit-Metasomatismus führte zur Bildung von Adular-Aggregaten mit von 14 bis 73 Mol-% Rbf, der von reinem 100 Mol-% Kfs gesäumt and höchst-wahrscheinlich stark ungeordnet ist; (3) blockiger K-Feldspat wurde durch lachsfarbigen, feinkömigen, Na-armen and Rb-freien maximalen Mikroklin mit einer Zusammensetzung nahe 100 Mol-% Kfs ersetzt, der mit Calcit and Fluorit vergesellschaftet ist.
