2. Acute hepatitis can be caused by the enterically spread hepatitis A and E viruses and the parenterally spread hepatitis B, C or D viruses.

Eine akute Hepatitis kann durch die enteral übertragenen Hepatitis A- und E-Viren sowie die parenteral übertragenen Hepatitis B-, C- oder D-Viren hervorgerufen werden.

In addition to the use of conventional amphotericin-B, lipid formulations thereof, parenterally applicable itraconazole, the glucan synthase inhibitor caspofungin and another triazole (voriconazole) have recently become available for the treatment of aspergillosis.All of these cause less harmful side effects than the conventional amphotericin deoxycholate.Their respective clinical value,however, still has to be defined.

Neben dem konventionellen und dem liposomalen Amphotericin sind neuerdings zur Therapie der invasiven Aspergillosen verfügbar das parenteral anwendbare Itraconazol, der Glukan-Synthasehemmer Caspofungin und als weiteres Triazol das Voriconazol, die alle nebenwirkungsärmer sind als das konventionelle Amphotericin.Der klinische Stellenwert der neuen Antimykotika ist zumeist noch zu ermitteln.
