1. November 2006 we have begun to install weather stations in areas with sparse meteorological measurements. Thereby we use not only Davis stations but especially at higher altitudes Thies and Vaisala weather stations, as well as Ott-Parsivel and MPS rain gauges.

Über die Davis-Stationen hinaus, werden ab einer gewissen Höhe Thies- oder Vaisala-Stationen, beziehungsweise Ott-Parsivel und MPS-Regenmesser installiert.
