Lediglich in der Okzipitalregion kam es zu einem diskreten Haarwuchs, welcher mit einer leichten Follikulitis einherging.

Die 7. Welle hat dieselbe Periode wie die spontanen, rhythmischen EEG-Wellen während verschiedener Alter (Abb.6) und kann daher als die 1. Welle der sogenannten rhythmischen „Nachentladung“ angesehen werden.

5. The main symptom is intracranial leptomeningeal angiomatosis which mostly affects the occipital and posterior parietal lobes and can occur unilaterally and also bilaterally.

Leitsymptom ist eine intrakranielle leptomeningeale Angiomatose, die meist den Okzipital- und posterioren Parietallappen betrifft und ein- aber auch beidseitig vorkommen kann.

6. The cortical lesions of the temporo-parieto-occipital association cortex correlated with the symptoms of agnosia, aphasia and apraxia, which were recorded in all cases.

7. A 47-year-old man developed a persistent form of alexia without agraphia as the result of a haemorrhagic intracerebral lesion in the left inferior temporo-occipital region, due to the rupture of an arteriovenous malformation.

Bei einem 47jährigen Mann trat eine intracerebrale Blutung infolge Ruptur eines arteriovenösen Angioms der linken basalen Temporookzipitalregion auf. Dies führte zu einer persistierenden Alexie ohne Agraphie.

8. The elements iron, copper, zinc, magnesium and calcium were quantitatively determined in several regions of the human brain, including frontal and occipital cortex, hippocampus, n. amygdalae, striatum, thalamus, pallidum, substantia nigra, n. ruber, n. dentatus, oliva inferior and centrum ovale (white matter).

In der Frontal- und Occipitalhirnrinde, in Hippocampus, Mandelkern, Striatum, Thalamus, Pallidum, S. nigra, Nucl. ruber, Ncl. dentatus, Oliva inf. und Centrum semiovale wurde die Konzentration von Fe, Zn, Cu, Mg und Ca bestimmt.

9. RESULTS: These two case reports demonstrate the intimate connectivity between the cardiovascular/pulmonary system and the central nervous system in a 13-year-old girl with occipital angiomatosis, but no history of heart disease who developed profound left ventricular dysfunction and pulmonary oedema following pontine haemorrhage, and in a 5-year-old girl who developed severe pulmonary oedema after suffering from status epilepticus.

ERGEBNISSE: Unsere beiden Fallberichte zeigen die innigen Verbindungen zwischen dem kardiovaskulären und pulmonalen System einerseits und dem zentralen Nervensystem andererseits. Bei einem 13-jährigen Mädchen mit einer okkzipital lokalisierten zerebralen Angiomatose kam es nach einer Blutung im Bereich der Pons zum plötzlichen Einsetzen einer hochgradigen linksventrikulären Funktionseinschränkung mit konsekutivem Lungenödem. Ein 5-jähriges Mädchen entwickelte ein neurogen-induziertes Lungenödem im Rahmen eines Status epilepticus.
