1. Mals in South Tyrol is situated on the heath land of Mals in Upper Vinschgau and belongs to the eldest settlements in the region. Even from afar, the age of the place becomes apparent and you will somehow have the feeling of travelling through time: the many different towers with pinnacles nearly all stem from different ages and all seem to tell their own story.
