1. Seven régions have been experimenting with the transfer of administration of the regional rail network since 1997: Alsace, the Centre-Val de Loire, Nord-Pas-de-Calais (the North), Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, Rhône-Alpes and the Pays-de-la-Loire (Loire Valley), and, since January 1999, Limousin.

4. The study concluded that the number of permanent, and subsequently non-permanent, branches of Crédit Mutuel dropped in the regions in which Crédit Mutuel was traditionally very strong (Pays de Loire, Brittany and Alsace), while the number of branches in other regions grew.

Zusammenfassend lässt sich sagen, dass die Zahl der permanenten sowie nicht permanenten Filialen in den Regionen, in denen der Crédit Mutuel historisch stark vertreten war (Pays de Loire, Bretagne, Elsass), gesunken ist, während sie sich in den anderen Regionen erhöht hat.
