1. Standard solution: solution of allyl isothiocyanate in absolute alcohol containing 15 mg of allyl isothiocyanate per litre.

Standard-Lösung: alkoholische Lösung von Allylisothiocyanat, 15 mg/l abs. Ethanol.

2. In the first procedure, a total of isothiocyanate and isocyanate is determined by reacting the mixture with excessn-butylamine and back titrating the residual amine acidimetrically.

Bei dem einen Verfahren wird die Summe von Isothiocyanat und Isocyanat durch Umsetzung mit einem Überschuß vonn-Butylamin und Rücktitration mit Säure bestimmt.

3. On acetylation, benzoylation and in the reaction with benzenesulfonyl chloride, phenyl isocyanate and phenyl isothiocyanate, the exocyclic amino group reacts; alkylation with CH3J, however, takes place at the ring nitrogen atom.

Bei der Acetylierung, Benzoylierung sowie der Umsetzung mit Benzolsulfochlorid, Phenylisocyanat und Phenylsenföl reagiert die exocyclische Aminogruppe; die Alkylierung mit CH3J erfolgt dagegen am Ringstickstoff.
