71. Many authors advocate the use of empiric acyclovir in any patients with unexplained encephalopathy, since delay in treatment may greatly affect outcome. We describe a patient who died due to a herpes simplex virus 1 encephalitis affecting the brainstem, where nucleic acids were found post mortem by in situ hybridization.

Viele Autoren fordern daher bei allen Patienten mit ungeklärter Enzephalopathie eine empirsche Verabreichung von Acyclovir, da eine Verzögerung der Therapie deletär für den Ausgang der Erkrankung sein kann.

72. After 50 hours of practice on a pelvic trainer during which the laparoscopic handling and especially various suturing techniques were learnt (A) a total of 15 pigs (approx. 40 kg, in general aesthesia, right sided positioned, with 7 ports) have been operated from February to August 2006: 1. laparoscopic nephrectomy, 2. laparoscopic in-situ cold perfusion, 3. laparoscopic renal autotransplantation (B).

Nach 50 h Übung an einem Pelvitrainer zum Erlernen des laparoskopischen Handlings und insbesondere verschiedener Nahttechniken (Phase A) wurden von Februar bis August 2006 insgesamt 15 Schweine operiert (ca. 40 kg, Intubationsnarkose, Rechtsseitenlage, 7 Trokare): 1. laparoskopische Nephrektomie, 2. In-situ-Kaltperfusion, 3. laparoskopische Autotransplantation (Phase B).

73. METHODS: Four collagen scaffolds were investigated in-situ in an ovine model after 8 weeks of omental implantation to assess their suitability with regards to integration and cellular infiltration for esophagus organ tissue engineering: (a) Acellular bovine pericardial collagen (BPC), (b) Acellular cross-linked (HDMI hexamethylene diisocyanate) porcine dermal collagen (PDC), (c) Porcine porous collagen (PPC) and (d) Bovine tendon dual-layered (type-1) collagen (DLC).

Dazu wurden die Polymere 8 Wochen in das Omentum der Schafe implantiert und danach hinsichtlich ihrer Zweckmäßigkeit untersucht, wobei besonderes Augenmerk auf die zelluläre Infiltration und auf die Integration der Polymere in die anatomischen Gegebenheiten gelegt wurde. Kollagenpolymere: (a) Azelluläres Rinderperikard-Kollagen (BPC), (b) Azelluläres querverbundenes (HDMI Hexamethylen-Diisocyanat) Schweinehaut-Kollagen (PDC), (c) engporiges Schweinekollagen (PPC) und (d) zweilagiges Rindersehnen-Kollagen (Typ-1) (DLC).

74. Systemic (SP) and aneurysm sac pressure (ASP) were measured under the following conditions: (1) with a Talent®-bifurcation in situ without clotting simulation, (2) with clotting simulation, (3) with a non compliant 'stiff-stent', (4) with a Talent®-stent and concomitant type III-endoleak with no outflow, (5) with free outflow through an inferior mesenteric artery (IMA); and (6) with a 100 mmHg back pressure within the IMA.

Druckmessungen wurden systemisch (SP) und im ausgeschalteten Aneurysmasack (ASP) unter den folgenden Vorraussetzungen durchgeführt: 1. nach Einsatz einer Talent®-Bifurkation ohne Klottingsimulation und 2. mit Simulation eines Klottings; 3. nach Einsatz eines eigens hergestellten "Hart-Stents" zur Ausschaltung der textilen Kompliance; 4. bei liegendem Talent®-Stent mit Typ-III-Endoleak bei geschlossenem Aneurysmasack sowie 5. bei freiem Abfluss über die A. mesenterica inferior (AMI). Schließlich wurde 6. ein Gegendruck von 100 mmHg in der offenen AMI angelegt.
