Autoimmune polyendocrinopathy-candidiasis-ectodermal dystrophy (APECED) is a genetic disease that occurs in childhood or early adolescence and is characterized by chronic mucocutaneous candidiasis, hypoparathyroidism, and autoimmune-related adrenal insufficiency caused by mutations in the AIRE gene (21q22.3).

Das Autoimmun-Polyendokrinopathie-Kandidiasis-Ektodermaldystrophie(APECED)-Syndrom ist eine genetische Krankheit, die sich in der Kindheit oder der frühen Adoleszenz mit den Leitsymptomen chronische mukokutane Kandidiasis, Hypoparathyreoidismus und autoimmun bedingte Nebenniereninsuffizienz manifestiert. Als Ursache sind Mutationen im AIRE-Gen (21q22.3) bekannt.
