1. The project made the American Library Association’s 2015 “Annual List of Best Historical Materials” and received the second prize at the 2015 Berlin Digital Humanities Awards.

Das Projekt wurde 2015 in die „Annual list of Best Historical Materials“ der American Library Association gewählt und die Leiter und das Projektteam erhielten 2015 für das Nachschlagewerk den Berliner Digital Humanities Preis (2. Preis).

2. Regular events include both an annual reception, which brings future fellows and alumni together with representatives from culture, politics, media, the sciences and humanities, as well as the commemoration of the Burning of the Books on May 10, 1933.

Zu den regelmäßigen Veranstaltungen zählen unter anderen die jährliche Villa Aurora & Thomas Mann House Nacht, zu der alle ehemaligen und kommenden Stipendiaten sowie Gäste aus Kultur, Politik, Wissenschaft und Medien eingeladen werden, und die Veranstaltung im Gedenken an die Geschehnisse der Bücherverbrennung vom 10. Mai 1933.
