1. Comparative examinations and autoxidation studies with the flavanon glycosides hesperidin and naringin as well as with their aglycones hesperetin and naringenin showed that the former are mainly responsible for the antioxidant activity of the citrus peel and extracts.

Vergleichende Untersuchungen und Autoxidationstests mit den Flavanonglykosiden Hesperidin und Naringin sowie deren Aglykonen Hesperetin und Naringenin lassen erkennen, daß erstere größtenteils für die antioxidative Aktivität der Zitrusfruchtschalen bzw. -extrakte verantwortlich sind.
