1. Because the root participates significantly in the biosynthesis of gibberellin, the acropetal transport of gibberellin from this organ in an intact plant is probably connected with the attractive force of auxin activated in the shoot apex.

Da sich die Wurzel an der Gibberellinbiosynthese wesentlich beteiligt, hängt der akropetale Gibberellintransport in der intakten Pflanze auch wesentlich damit zusammen, daß dieser Regulator durch das im Apikalmeristem aktivierte Auxin angezogen wird.
