1. After furosemide cyclic-AMP concentration decreased continuously within 15 min about 30% compared with the basal value, PRA increased within 7 min and no further increase was observed till the 15th min.

Nach Furosemid fällt die c-AMP-Konzentration im Verlauf von 15 min kontinuierlich bis auf 70% des Ausgangswertes ab, die PRA ist bereits nach 7 min um das 2fache erhöht und wird bis zur 15. min nicht verändert.

2. A 38-year-old female patient developed a Pseudo-Bartter's-Syndrome with hypokalemic alkalosis, hyponatremia and hyperrenism as the result of the abuse of diuretics (furosemide, spironolactone, thiabutacide) for a period of more than 10 years.

Bei einer 38jährigen Patientin entwickelte sich ein Pseudo-Bartter-Syndrom mit hypokaliämischer Alkalose, Hyponatriämie und Hyperreninämie infolge eines mehr als 10jährigen Abusus von Diuretika (Furosemid, Spironolacton, Thiabutazid).

3. The action of furosemide, a new saluretic drug, was studied in rats suffering from edema, induced upon ligation of both external jugular veins. This edema was accompanied by retention of water and salts, whereas in the urine the ratio Na/K was lowered.

An Ratten mit Stauungsödemen und Wasser- und Salzretentionen wurde die Wirkung von Furosemid untersucht: Die Wasser- und Natriumausscheidung wurde durch Furosemid erheblich gesteigert und übertraf die retinierten Mengen.

4. PRA of patients with LREH (0.2±0.1 ng AI/ml·h) remained practically unchanged 15 min after furosemide administration, but in contrast to NREH aldosterone increased from 111±37 to 160±66 (P<0.05) and 18-OH-B from 162±101 to 261±71 pg/ml (P<0.01).

Bei Patienten mit LREH blieb die PRA (basal 0,2±0,1) 15 min nach Furosemid praktisch unverändert.
