1. Madam President, I rise to ask you if you will join with me in expressing your concern to the Turkish judicial authorities about the delays in bringing to trial those persons involved in the affray that took place in Galatasaray, Turkey on the occasion of a football match with Leeds United in April 2000.

– Frau Präsidentin, ich möchte Sie darum bitten, sich mir anzuschließen und gegenüber den türkischen Gerichten Ihre Besorgnis darüber zum Ausdruck zu bringen, dass sich die Gerichtsverhandlungen gegen die Beteiligten der Schlägerei in Galatasaray im Rahmen eines Fußballspiels gegen Leeds United im April 2000 verzögern.
