1. Following the Decision by Parliament and Council adopting the Fourth Framework Programme of European Community activities in the field of research and technological development and demonstration (1994-1998) (Decision 1110/94/EC of 26.4.1994, OJ No L 126 of 18.5.1994) and the Council Decision on the specific programme for research and technological development, including demonstration, in the field of marine science and technology, the Commission of the European Communities is inviting applications for advanced study courses and for fellowships.

Aufgrund des Beschlusses des Parlaments und des Rats über das vierte Rahmenprogramm der Europäischen Gemeinschaft im Bereich Forschung, technologische Entwicklung und Demonstration (1994-1998) (Beschluß 1110/94/EG vom 26.4.1994; ABl. Nr. L 126 vom 18.5.1994, S. 1) und der Ratsentscheidung über das spezifische Programm für Forschung und technologische Entwicklung, einschließlich Demonstration, im Bereich der Meereswissenschaften und -technologien fordert die Kommission der Europäischen Gemeinschaften zur Einreichung von Bewerbungen für Lehrgänge für Fortgeschrittene und für Stipendien auf.
