Zur Tachykardie- Differenzierung im 12-Kanal-EKG werden vor allem die Tachykardie-Frequenz, die QRS-Breite, die Regelmäßigkeit/Unregelmäßigkeit der QRS-Komplexe, P-Wellen-Frequenz und P-Morphologie, die Frage nach Vorhof-Kammer-Relation, QRS-Alternans und Reaktion auf AV-leitungsblockierende Maßnahmen (vagale Manöver, Adenosin-Applikation) herangezogen.
