1. In more than 50 % of cases they are accompanied by fractures of the epicondyle of the ulna, the radial condyle of the radius head and coronoid process.

2. The radial column and the proximal ulna along with the coronoid process have a decisive influence on the preservation of joint stability and should therefore be carefully considered in revision surgery.

Die radiale Säule und die proximale Ulna zusammen mit dem Koronoid haben eine entscheidende Bedeutung für den Erhalt der Gelenkstabilität und sollten daher bei der Revisionschirurgie bedacht werden.

3. More anatomical landmarks were rated as asymmetric in OAVS patients showing unilateral agenesis of an external acoustic pore than in OAVS patients without such agenesis: in the former patients, statistically significant asymmetries compared to the control group were present at the L1M (coronal pulp cavity of the lower first molar), CoP (coronoid process), and Co (condylion superius) landmarks, whereas the latter group showed such significant asymmetries at the CoP and Co landmarks.

Bei Patienten, bei denen nur ein Porus acusticus externus angelegt war, wurden mehr Punkte als asymmetrisch bzw. markant asymmetrisch beurteilt (Signifikanzen bei L1M, CoP und Co) als bei Patienten mit 2 knöchernen Gehörgängen (Signifikanzen bei CoP und Co).
