Davon entfielen 929 Fälle (87%) auf die Gruppe der epithelialen Tumoren, 89 Fälle (8%) auf nicht-epitheliale Geschwülste (Haemangiome u. a.) und 49 Fälle (5%) auf Metastasen oder periglanduläre Tumoren. 71,5% der epithelialen Tumoren waren benigne (51,5% pleomorphe Adenome, 20% monomorphe Adenome), 28,5% maligne (2,5% Acinuszelltumoren, 6% Mucoepidermoidtumoren, 20% Carcinome).

Weitere Kombinationen stellen multiple Angiofibrome und sog. Koenen-Tumoren bei der tuberösen Sklerose, multiple kutane Leiomyome und uterine Leiomyome mit Nierenzellkarzinomen, das Gardner-Fibrom mit dem Gardner-Syndrom und multiple Basalzellkarzinome im jüngeren Lebensalter mit dem Gorlin-Syndrom dar.
