Für alle Typen werden Beispiele innerhalb und außerhalb der Mathematik gegeben, aus der Geometrie (Konfigurationen und geometrische „Vorgänge“)kaus der Algebra (Gruppentheorie), aus der Analysis (Verzweigungen bei nichtlinearen Integralgleichungen) und aus den Anwendungen (Bevölkerung, Streckennetze, Fabrikationsplanung u.a.).

Systemic (SP) and aneurysm sac pressure (ASP) were measured under the following conditions: (1) with a Talent®-bifurcation in situ without clotting simulation, (2) with clotting simulation, (3) with a non compliant 'stiff-stent', (4) with a Talent®-stent and concomitant type III-endoleak with no outflow, (5) with free outflow through an inferior mesenteric artery (IMA); and (6) with a 100 mmHg back pressure within the IMA.

Druckmessungen wurden systemisch (SP) und im ausgeschalteten Aneurysmasack (ASP) unter den folgenden Vorraussetzungen durchgeführt: 1. nach Einsatz einer Talent®-Bifurkation ohne Klottingsimulation und 2. mit Simulation eines Klottings; 3. nach Einsatz eines eigens hergestellten "Hart-Stents" zur Ausschaltung der textilen Kompliance; 4. bei liegendem Talent®-Stent mit Typ-III-Endoleak bei geschlossenem Aneurysmasack sowie 5. bei freiem Abfluss über die A. mesenterica inferior (AMI). Schließlich wurde 6. ein Gegendruck von 100 mmHg in der offenen AMI angelegt.
