9. By means of qualitative and semiquantitative analyses of histochemical reactions the enzymatic structure of the acanthotic epidermis in neurodermatitis (atopic dermatitis) was investigated. Enzymes of the energy-producing metabolism and hydrolytic enzyme activities were demonstrated histochemically. The results were compared with those obtained in psoriasis vulgaris.

Die enzymatische Struktur der Epidermis bei Neurodermitis diffusa (lichenifizierte Herde) wurde durch qualitative und semiquantitative Analyse histochemischer Enzymreaktionen (24 Reaktionen zum Nachweis von Enzymen des energieliefernden Stoffwechsels und hydrolytische Aktivitäten) untersucht und mit Gewebe bei Psoriasis vulgaris und normaler Haut verglichen.
