1. It is therefore necessary that lay people receive a sound doctrinal and spiritual formation and constant support to enable them to testify to Christ in their environment, in order that society be abidingly permeated with the principles of the Gospel, while at the same time preventing the faith from becoming marginalized in public life.

Daher müssen die Laien eine solide Ausbildung auf den Gebieten der Lehre und der Spiritualität erhalten und ebenso konstante Unterstützung, damit sie in der Lage sind, in ihrem Lebensumfeld Zeugnis für Christus abzulegen, um die Gesellschaft anhaltend mit den Prinzipien des Evangeliums zu durchdringen und zu vermeiden, dass der Glaube im öffentlichen Leben marginalisiert wird.
