18. We reaffirm our commitment to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and to its objective through both mitigation and adaptation in accordance with our common but differentiated responsibilities and respective capabilities.

19. EAM also reiterated the priority given by India to improve energy efficiency and increase access to renewable energy with its National Action Plan on Climate Change and its active participation in the UNFCCC process.

20. They expressed their determination for a flexible, fair and effective global framework and concerted international action beyond 2012 in which all countries participate to address climate change in line with the principles of the UNFCCC.

21. The process established under the Bali Road Map should aim for enhanced implementation of the UNFCCC and give due weight to issues of concern to developing countries, in particular those relating to addressing adaptation, technology, and financing arrangements.

22. It is our conviction that as long as delegations adhere to the principles and provisions of the UNFCCC and follow faithfully, the mandate spelt out in the Bali Action Plan, a comprehensive, balanced and equitable outcome in Copenhagen will be achieved.

To facilitate a thorough discussion of the outcomes of the three regional workshops, the UNFCCC secretariat provided a summary of the three workshop reports covering thematic areas such as GHG inventories, vulnerability and adaptation assessment, abatement options and financial and technical support

25. 3. After having established the link described in 1., all processes concerning allowances, verified emissions, accounts, automatic national allocation plan table changes and Kyoto units shall be completed through the exchange of data via the UNFCCC independent transaction log and thereon to the Community independent transaction log.
